The weekly EECS Colloquium offers our faculty a chance to invite speakers offering a wide range of experiences covering topics in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science to engage with the department.

7th International Conference on the Developments in Renewable Energy Technology

“Together for our planet” from Cop 26, was attended by 120 world leaders and over 40,000 registered participants, including 22,274 party delegates, 14,124 observers and 3,886 media representatives to consider the possible options to save our planet from global warming. They agreed to do the followings:

Recognizing the emergency related to global warming, leaders in the conference recognized that the impacts of climate change will be much lower if the global temperature rise can be contained within 1.5 °C instead of the anticipated rise of 2 °C. A target has been set for accelerated action to reduced carbon emission with a targeted net zero emission by 2050. Zero emission vehicles by the year 2040 is another milestone that has been set
